The same stretch of river as Eclipse Sunset, painted after the sun had gone. The afterglow lasted considerably longer than the sunset itself.
By then everything on the ground had flattened into one silhouette, which left the sky and its reflection to carry the painting. I kept the bank as a single unbroken shape so the two halves of the sky could hold each other in place.
