Painting the Saltue last spring with friend and fellow artist Jared Brady
Because I spend much of my time traveling and painting on location - a practice that is central to my art - I don’t have a traditional store showing what is available. In recent years, I hold an online studio sale once or twice a year, where I make a large collection of new work available for a short time. This allows me to compartmentalize my time, focusing on tracking orders, packing and shipping while I am home, and painting while I am not. These sales are the primary way which I make my work available, but you are always welcome to get in touch with any inquiries.
The best way to make sure you don’t miss the next studio sale is to join the collectors list. You’ll be the first to know when new work is available, and from time to time there are other chances to collect a piece outside of a studio sale as well.
The last studio sale took place in August, 2025. I had 66 paintings available, from Madeira, Florence, Venice, the Dolomites, Paris, and London. 90% of them sold, most within the first few minutes.
I am currently preparing the next studio sale for winter 2026. It will be an assortments of pictures from Jordan (Petra), Rome, Poland, and a few local seascapes and landscapes. Stay tuned!
Studio Sale FAQ’s
-
Simply put, it is an online store on my website, where I host a sale of a specific collection for a limited time.
This evolved out out of painting a lot but not wanting to constantly have to look at and update my website throughout the year. So I prefer to do it in batches.
-
I usually make them available for a week, however many pieces are snatched within minutes of opening. I can’t guarantee what will happen in future studio sales
-
I’ll try to keep upcoming sales noted at the top of this page, but the best way to not miss the next one is to sign up to the collectors newsletter. You’ll get a confirmation email upon signup, which will confirm you are added.

Generally, no. I tend to offer my paintings unframed. It would be a massive logistical hurdle to offer a frame with each painting. Also, I am partial to the idea that a frame can connect a painting to it’s room, so it’s best to leave the framing to the new owner!
-
Most of my sales have around 50-60 paintings, and represent several months of work and multiple trips and locations.
-
In recent years the 9×12” format has become a standard size for me when painting smaller pieces en plein air. That is the size that you most often see on my palette box. However depending on the sale, I do sometimes offer larger work.

Payments can be made with both credit cards and payal.

Generally the studio sale is first to complete the purchase gets the sale. Smaller pieces are priced accordingly. If there are larger pieces someone would like to acquire outside of a studio sale, please get in touch!
