The end to a great day. We drove to Tyniec, which is a Benedictine abbey built atop cliffs, overlooking the Vistula river, and made it just in time for the sunset. I decided the view looked much more interesting south, which showed a brilliant pink band, and its reflection in the river below. Along the horizon I simplified the distant hills into clean, graphic shapes that captured the atmospheric perspective.
