On the first night we were pleasantly surprised with the view of the mountains right from the town. I remember being a little worried that the compositions in Chamonix could be boring because its a long valley with mountains rising on both sides, but boy was I wrong. The scale was large enough it didn't matter.
This piece shows a subtle pinkish light of the golden hour, as the clouds start to clear up and reveal some of the peaks of Chamonix.
