Another one from the trails around the halfway station, and probably the least ambitious view I found up there. No peaks and no sky, just a slope of long grass running up into the shadow of the trees above it.
What held my attention was the drawing inside the mass. The grass has a real direction to it, and the painting came down to how much of that rhythm to state outright and where to let it go quiet. The dark treeline at the top is doing almost all of the work of holding the sunlight in place.
