In the afternoon, I decided I was not yet too out of breath, and attempted a third piece. This piece shows Mont Blanc with several clouds forming around the peak. The sun starts to cast several shadows down the side of the mountain, highlighting its form and glaciers. The weather kept getting better with more epic views of light and shadow across the snow covered peaks and valleys, but unfortunately the last lift down was around 5pm, and I could feel myself getting winded after having spent the whole day at that elevation. The ride down turned out to be less comfortable than the ride up.
